Why did you become a social worker?
I enjoy connecting and supporting other humans to empower themselves and feel worthy of support.
What personal experiences or values do you bring to your role?
I bring more than 15 years of experience to my role.
What do you find most rewarding about your role?
Connecting with families and working with a good team.
What motivates you to continuously learn and grow in your role as a social worker?
I keep learning and growing as a social worker because I get to take on new responsibilities, receive support from my supervisors, have time for further education and feel valued for what I do.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in social work?
Gain valuable experience in the field and know your true value.
